WHY ARE WE HAVING ECONOMIC PROBLEMS,
HEALTH INSURANCE PROBLEMS AND
EDUCATION PROBLEMS?
If the current elected officials have done so much for us, why is the housing industry down and why
are jobs disappearing? We need elected officials who are not afraid to stand up to big business and
lobbyists and say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”!
JIM BALDWIN will work for the MUST-NEEDED CHANGES IN:
• THE ECONOMY. Jim Baldwin’s and Jay Nixon’s business experience can help turn around Missouri’s economy.
We are in financial trouble because of the bad business decisions made by the current Administration. We need
Accountability!
• HEALTH CARE. We need to regulate insurance company standards and require regulations and regular inspection of
nursing homes. We need to ensure standardization of coverage and health care costs. We need to restore health care
for more than 100,000 elderly, disabled and young citizens.
• GUNS. Jim supports the right of individuals to own guns for protection and hunting. Hunting is allowed on his private land.
• SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS. We need to rid state government of the Special Interest Groups that control Jefferson
City. Special Interest Groups will NOT control my vote; however, I DO support Unions and Workers Rights.
• EDUCATION. I will ensure that our State requires measurable standards. We need ACCOUNTABILITY of both students
and teachers. Jim Baldwin does NOT approve of school vouchers. Vouchers have weakened our education system.
